Cheap Mics with mic simulators

I am planing on recording live drums, guitar, bass, and vocals on an eight track hard disk recorder. This recorder has mic simulators on it, and amp simulators, along with compression and effects.

The mics I have are:

Electro Voice RE-11
Electro Voice RE-16
Shure SM-58
A Beyers Dynamic Mic (not sure of Model #)
A $99 Audio Technica (not sure of Model #)
Radio Shack PZM

I am planning on using the PZM to pick up the room sound, but from that point on, I am not sure what the best setup would be (taking the mic simulators into consideration).

Any help would be appreciated.

I would not think a mic simulator could do much to improve your sound... perhaps change the coloration. It is kind of like that saying, "Garbage in, garbage out."

...I could be wrong though.

It would be like putting a supercharger on a Yugo.
I think you'd need a decent large-diaphragm mic to get good results. It just seems like common sense.
