Cheap mic advice

Can anyone give me any insite into any of these mics? I'm just looking to use these to cut rough demos at home to take to my band...thanks

I don't know anything about the mics you listed but my advice would be to pick up a Shure Sm-57 or 58. A 57 is cheap in the fact that you can usually get one for about 70-75 bucks and you can pretty much use it for anything. The good thing about the 57 is that you won't outgrow it. If nothing else, they will take a beating and keep on going. Just my 2 cents though.
 
Thanks. I'm pretty familiar with 57's and 58's as I've used them extensively in professional situations. They're quality mics (as long as you don't get the beta 58). I'm just looking for something different and a little cheaper.
 
Reflux, trot on down to Guitar Center and see if they have any AKG D690's lying around. This is a discontinued mic that I am very fond of, and GC will deal on them. I have picked one up at GC for $36. I have a number of mics, incuding some higher end models, and the D690's still see frequent use in my little studio, both for cabs and vox.-Richie
