I know the Central Station is all the rage right now, but some folks don't need all it has to offer...

I am using a TC-37 switcher/selector that lets me switch my control room outs to 3 sources. I use it to route to:
1.) Powered Event monitors
2.) Off (for tracking vocals in the same room, etc...)
3.) A Power amp that feeds my secondary and third monitor speaker sets.

It also lets me switch between the 2nd and 3rd set of speakers...
It's designed to route 3 inputs to 1 out, but it's completely passive, and doesn't care what direction the signal flows.

Cost ??? $33...

Here it is...

In put all the cables to/from it in a flexable 1" cable from Home Dpot for a clean look. Cost? Another $2...

I don't sell them, but it is a functional, well made, cheap solution for some setups!!
Not quite a Central Station/Big Knob, but serves a nice purpose.

T,
That sound like a really nice affordable switcher.
Did you notice any fidelity loss using the unit as opposed to wiring direct?

It would fit the bill for me if it does not degrade the audio.

Tom

No degradation of audio... there's nothing to it.... it's completely passive, and uses pretty nice components and heavy wiring throughout...

The "Ins and outs" can be reversed to suit your needs, based on how you plug stuff in to it. (3 diff ins to 1 out, or 1 in to 3 diff outs...). I like mine alot, and consider it a Best Buy :D
