cheap A/B boxes to go form tuner to EFX

im looking for a cheap A/B box, but dont want one that'll add noise or color tone, do I have to worry about this with cheap A/B boxes or are these things generally quite and not tone effecting?

what are ssome good cheap ones thatll not affect tone?
 
Anything that splits your signal can affect gain and tone. Many volume pedals and stereo effects pedals have splitters built into them. If you are already using any of those you could use the extra signal for the tuner.

There was a post recently where somebody had a link to a guy who makes custom splitter pedals. I think it was in the guitar forum.
 
If you want to save a lot of money and know how to solder good... you could make one out of an old broken stompbox or get 3 switchcraft 1/4" phone jacks and a good A/B switch and mount them in a metal box... and wire them up with some shielded cable.
 
I have the DOD 270.

It was cheap, works fine for me, and I havent suffered from any tone loss or noise so far.

My pedal tuner has two outputs. One will mute the guitar when tuning, while the other output does not (Fender PT-10).

PS - I love my pedal tuner. It feeds my tuning addiction.
