hey, does anyone know where i can find discount 4x12's? I looked at www.avatarspeakers.com, and its pretty reasonable there... does anyone know of another site?

It's a behringer cab. I haven't tried these yet, but I have had guitar cads with Jensen speaks and I can tell you they are very loud and have a bit more bass response than celest. Might be worth autioning.
Also, Guitar Center has Ampeg 4x12's for around $299. They have the lower end celestions.

BTW, the Carvin cabs sound nice, especially the Legacy's. They arent road worthy. The cab construction is very weak. My guitar player order a full stack and it arrived with many (8 or more) dings on them. It was purely a cosmetic thing. But it's kinda shitty when you order something new and it shows up with road wear just from shipping.

No, they're Ampeg-rebadged Eminences, probably the same speakers as in the Avatars, from the looks of them.
The normal GC price on these is $399, but they are often on sale for $299, which is a very good deal, for either straight or slanted. They are in very heavy-duty 3/4" plywood and come with wheels.
These were originally matched to the extinct Ampeg V-50H head.
If having a major maker's name on them is worth a few extra bucks, I'd go with these over the Avatars. Check the link above.

ive got a 4x12 celestion marshall jcm800 halfstack im willing to sell for roughly $225. It works great but has a few nicks and bumps in the white tolex..... If your looking for high fashion you might wanna check elsewhere but if you want a working man's cabinet thats built like a tank, its a good deal....
