Hey Man

I've got a Motu Traveler (which I am very pleased with).
I want a cheap portable recorder that I can use with the traveler for recording live music, mostly acoustic guitar and voice at small folk clubs.
I would like to be able to record 4 tracks simoultaneously at 24bit 44.1khz.
My laptop works fine for this job, but simply makes too much fan noise.
Is there a portable hard drive recorder out there that is basically a hard drive with a record button on it and a digital input.
Thats all I need.
I know the sound devices 744T does what I want (at around £3000), but my budget is only 1 or 2 hundred pounds (my laptop was only £300).
Does such a device exist?
Or even a completely silent laptop? ( I could buy 2 hundred pounds worth of pillows and put them on top of the laptop)
I'm also considering a decent dat recorder, but is it pointless recording through the high quality traveler onto a lower quality format like dat?

Cheers man
