Charvel GTM6 Guitar to MIDI converter

I just picked up one of these at a yard sale and I personally do not have a use for one of these. There also seems to be limited or scarce information available about this particular item so I thought I would try posting here and see if anyone knows more about this. If someone knows more about the GTM6, please feel free to post.

I am interested in knowing more about the item's functions, rarity, and potential resale value. Thanks in advance!!
 
Do you also have the rack-mounted converter? If not, and with no instruction manual it's probably not worth a whole lot...
 
I am not sure if you are asking me if I have the converter or if I actually have a different item. I picked up the Charvel/Jackson GTM6 19 inch rack mounted Guitar to MIDI converter at a yard sale the other day. Unfortunately it did not include the manual. Is there some other piece I should know about (like a pick-up or something)? I assume any standard MIDI guitar pick-up will work with this.
 
There are supposed to be four major components of the GTM6 midi guitar package - the guitar, the rack mounted converter, the power box for the guitar to hook into (separate from the rack) and the stereo cable that connects the guitar to the box. If you only have the rack mounted converter you are missing three pieces of the puzzle. The only pickup I know of that would be considered a standard is the Roland GK series, and IMHO it's a long shot that this system conforms to the Roland standards...
 
Really? This sucks. Where can I find out more about this system?
 
Google. It's easy and free and lets you rephrase your request over and over until you find the info you're looking for...
