some one who knows the mic, can tell me how it works?, its a good one?
or for same price i can get something better???!!!!

Sorry I don't have anything to add but, I too am intruiged. It certainly is a handsome looking mic.

the Charter Oaks are very new on the scene, so there's little to find out about them (I've been trying myself)...but at a similar pricepoint, there's a lot of good feedback on the Peluso mics...so you might want to look at them...and of course, Soundelux...

The charter oak 638B is really, really cool.

The thing rocks, and the guy that makes them is really cool, and will work with you to get the mic voiced to your liking!!!!!! Amazing. Nobody in this price range is even close to that level of detail and customer satisfaction.

Think it is a little bright? tell the guy that made it, send it back and have him tweak it for you at the factory and send it back, AT NO EXTRA COST!!!!

Amazing. I am SO gonna tweak mine to be exactly what I love in a mic!
