changing time signature in FL studio

i am just wondering...

is it possible to change time signatures in fruity loops studio? so far, i have a song which is in 4/4 time and i want to change it to 5/4 time for a little while.

the only thing i can think of is to change the numbe of beats of each loop to 5 beats. but this only solves the problem for each loop, not for the whole song.

because the song is in 4/4 time, so when i want to repeat the loop, i can't make it start straight after the 5th beat, instead i have to wait for the 2nd bar to end...

does anyone know a good way of changing time signatures in fruity loops. it's a great program, except for this little thing.

No.

Fruity was originally made to produce electronic music (all 4/4 or all one time sig.) It was never designed to mix times. You can produce each section in different files and then bring them together in a final .wav file tho...

Lots of folks asking this on the other recording boards for years; you'd think they'd look into it, but so far there is no way to do it in a single file.
