Of course with MIDI, but in home studio 2004 XL is it possible to change tempo of audio tracks without altering pitch?

Dunno if you have this command/effect in HS.

In Sonar, I right click on the audio file, choose AUDIO EFFECTS - CAKEWALK - TIME/PITCH STRETCH.

It works pretty well for a change of a couple of semitones, sort of OK for 3 - 5 semitones, badly for anything more and downright weird for anything approaching an octave.

You can turn them into Groove Clips (if that's possible in HS2004, I think so).
