P picker523 New member Apr 11, 2004 #1 Anyone ever had a problem changing cakewalk format from 24 to 16 bit?I tried doing that in order to burn a cd ,and it looked as thuogh it was performing the task, but when it was through it was still 24 bit.

B.SABBATH New member Apr 11, 2004 #2 I'm new to sonar, but to burn a cd I would choose file>export>audio, then choose Export to Stereo File, and select 16 as the bit depth.. then you'll have a 16 bit stereo wave file that you can burn to a cd with whatever burning software you use.. *make sure to remember the location where you exported it to*
