Had A song I've been working on for months. I was just about ready to start laying down tracks when all hell broke loose in New York.
The song is about a girl I knew years back who used to get pretty violent toward people whom she thought had it in for. She'd actually walk up to them, grab their leg & land them flat on their backs.
Soooo, I came up with "I saw your left wing flying right - below the last one. Have some faith, will your fate - pull a fast one". Thought it was pretty clever. But what the hell will people think now when they hear it?!!
Has what happened affected any of you as far as your writing? Do you find yourself second-guessing past lyrics you've written?
Really curious about this.
