Change sample rate on Sound Blaster Live Plat

The specs says it can go to 48hz on the SPDIF, but when i synced it to my protools, protools show 44hz.

Anyway I can change the sample rate on the output?
 
All Creative cards are 16bit/48kHz.

Use anything else and it will be resampled on-the-fly in the card and you run the risk of the sound being altered.

Do yourself a favor and get a real 24-bit card for $200; the difference will amaze you.

i have the digi001, i use soundblaster for reason.
