Hi
I use an old Roland E-28 via Lexicon Omega. My problem is that i want to use a midi-instrument (Csound Diffamator) that can only recieve midi messages from channel 1. But it appears that either the roland or the lexicon forces midi to be send at channel 3.
Is there anyway i can change this?
Before you say "read the fucking manual", i just want to say that the Lexicon manual does not say anything about this - and also im pretty sure the problem is with the E-28.
The E-28 i found in a container, so i dont have a manual for this - been searching the internet with no luck.

Hope you can help me
Thanks Carsten

rolandus.com

has the manual and MIC as a free download

Nice. seriously, i´ve been looking all over for these. I think maybe they were down at one time when i was looking at roland - i cant remember, is a long time ago.
Anyway. The manual did not help. It only told me there was a midi send and a midi recieve plug... :eek: - I guess i figured that out myself.
Also available from rolands homepage was midi implementation add-on for the manual. Not really telling me anything usefull, a lot of hex adresses, but nothing about controlling the midi features.

So, so far no luck.
Whats MIC?

Is there a small plugin available that can help me send from midi channel 3 to 1?

MIC = Midi implementation chart

I just looked at it and looks like the basic channel is fixed at 4 so u need a translator like Midi-ox or Bome to adjust in on the fly.
