Hi...here is a collab I have been working on for awhile...my friend wrote the lyrics , and I did the music...the subject is WW1 , and a revolt among the French soldiers...It's pretty rough right now...especially the ending, which I plan on having a repeating outro type chorus over the guitar solo...anyways, just wondering how it sounds to fresh ears..I think the battle sound effects in the intro may be overly cliche and cheesy sounding...

Did you use the Variax on this?

I so wish I could stream and listen. But I am doing a shameless post just to keep this on top long enough for someone to listen to it.

I will be able to listen in a few days. Right now I am in the middle of Asia somewhere on the deep blue sea.... :(

Hi Rokket, I did use the VAriax on 2 tracks, one is with the les paul model for a rthym trach, and a secong track used the 12 string acoustic model , also for the rthym guitars...the acoustic track is really buried right now in the mix...not sure if I want to use it or not...thanks for the intrest!

I have always liked what you can do with that guitar! :D

I will come back and find this thread after the 2nd....

Cool, very original. Nice cheery uplifting lyrics :p!

Lots of changes throughout the latter half of the tune. Rhymically tight. Rhythm guitars seem to lose some definition maybe when there is a lot of other stuff going on...not sure. I am on computer speakers, but am hearing a bit too much kick relative to the bass guitar. Otherwise I like the drums. A little more brightness throughout may be needed?

Don't rely too much on me...wait for others to chime in. A fun listen...thanks :).

Sounds pretty awesome so far. The bass definition kind of gets lost under the thick guitars. Maybe dry em up some, or bump the highs on the bass a touch. The ending solos are kick ass. The snare gets lost a little too, but just barely. Overall it's sounding pretty good so far. cool song.

Cool rockin' tune Queepy... I really like the leads between verses. Mix sounds good on my speakers.
