CD volume low

Hi all. I am getting very low volume(signal) on my burnt cd's. I am using a Yamaha MD8 and mixing down to Musicmatch Jukebox, through stereo out, on my PC. Once I burn, the signal is hardly audible on the finished CD.

How can I tell what level is going to the PC progaram? How can I check before burning? I'm getting tired of wasting new cd's.

Is it *truly* "hardly audible" or is it "not yet been mastered" audible? A difference of 6-12dBRMS wouldn't really be unusual.

Other than that, what are your meters telling you? Not familiar with your rig, so I'm not sure what the options are...
