CD Titles that Grabb - YANK- Attention

Any one ever really put their brain to work on creating cd titles? I never really thought about it, cuz I have never bought a cd based on titles.

But I kind of want to try to come up with a cd title that might grab -- YANK someone's attention

so far all i have is . . .


-- Introducing Gully Jewelz (quite bland I obviously admit)
-- Starting From Scratch
-- Just the Beginning
-- The Calm Before the Storm or (The Calm . . .) or (
. . . Before the Storm)

Any comments, feedback, critiques would be welcomed and appreciated
 
"Nekkid' Chicks n' Free Beer"

Also makes a good draw as a band name.
 
None of the titles you suggested strike me as catchy. They're all founded on somewhat cliched expressions. If you want to grab people's attention you should try and think of something witty or clever and original.

I think you may have ignored a piece of your own wisdom, however, which is that you've never bought a CD based on the title. You've probably also never NOT bought an album for the same reason. As far as attention-grabbing mechanisms, the title is not paramount; cover art and design is much more vital. I would focus more on generating a title that you think describes the music and is truly appropriate for the tone of the album. You still want it to be interesting, but it doesn't have to be awe-inspiring.
