I just transfered a DAT to a Tascam CDRW700. It all seemed to go fine but when I went to copy the disc on my PC, the drive doesn't see a disc. Can I copy them on my PC or not?
You have to finalize the disc before you can copy it.
There's a button on the CDR-700's panel and the remote that says 'Finalize'
Hit that and then hit enter. It'll take about a minute.
I thought I did finalize without luck before I posted. but the disc I had tried did not have a TOC when I played it back on the unit, that did it , Thanks, I feel so dumb.
