Well, 1's and 0's are 1's and 0's, so in theory, it doesn't matter. What does matter is how well the CDR captures the information, and how long it will store it. Also, if the data matters to you, burn the CDR at 1x, not higher speeds.
I don't use cheapo CDRs from office supply stores or big box stores anymore... I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.
The brand I use the most is Tiayo Yuden, with Mitsui being a close second.
They're available through lots of retail sources... Neato online has them, usually at a good price, as an example.
