Good NEWS!
1) Emeric is able to duplicate the CD's for us. It will cost us each 5 to 10 bucks apiece. If you can't afford five to ten bucks, then you need some serious help
We will make 50 CD sets to start off with, and they will be labeled "special edition" or something just so it feels cooler
That's 100 discs total with jewel cases and the cost for Emeric to ship the CD's back to the states...to the guy who'll be labeling. I'm not sure how much labeling will cost yet, but expect to spend another 5-10 bucks and that should be it for now I hope. That works out to $10-20 for your copy of the CD's, plus we'll have 30 CD sets left over to sell. The proceeds will come back to us or be donated to the BBS.
2) I've been working on getting the cd labels and back cover finished.
First, let's review S8-N's brilliant cover, just in case you haven't seen it. This is the *front* cover of the insert.

Next we have a potential CD label. This will go *on* the CD itself unless enough people don't like it. Does ANYONE have access to a CD printer? If so let me know ASAP. Note that this particular image is for the first CD in the set. Yes, it is a tape reel that's been through WWIII.
And finally we have an example back cover. This will be on the *back* of the jewel case and also includes the text that you'll see on the *sides* of the case. I wanted to somehow pay homage to the BBS on the cover of the CD...and I think this works pretty well. Note that this is a SHRUNKEN down version...the original is at 300 dpi such that it will print nicely. What I've done is to take the layout of the BBS and modify it a tad such that it'll list the songs instead of messages.
The little blue dot in the corners is hard to see on this shrunken version. It seems that most record companies stick a little logo down there or something so I stuck this...
Lemme know what you all think.
