CD cover design?

Is there anywhere online where you can design an album cover with a picture that you have? I don't have photoshop. Does anyone know where you can do that?

do what my homie did, go on yahoo n search for a graphics design/photoshop forum n ask if sobody would like to do an album cover

most of em do it as a hobby n wouldnt mind doin one for you as long as you give em credit or whatever

Not sure what kind of music you are putting on this disk, but you could always create a physical concept cover and photograph the scene.

I've seen some cool desgins where the person either created a shadowbox with a scene inside, or a flat image made from construction paper cutouts (think SouthPark), or something like that, and then photgraphed it, placed text over the image, and went from there.

Guess it all depends on how creative you are at that sort of thing, and how much time you want to invest... if you just want something for the cover and can't get the specifics out yourself, there are plenty of people I'm sure who'd be willing to come up with somethin for ya.

photoshop is useful, but it is not essential. Most text applications (MS Word, Lotus Wordpro etc) are pretty flexible in importing pictures and doing neat tricks with graphics. It's not too hard to create a template and design CD covers within those prpgrams
