CD burning problem

A professional recording studio burned an audio cd (Maxell). It does not play on my home Sanyo player, nor a new computer system.
Why? How can this be fixed from the source so future cd will play on all players?

Sounds like they're not quite as professional as they claim. An audio CD should play anywhere. Demand satisfaction, you paid for it!
