Cassette to Hard drive...

I would like to transfer some songs from a cassette tape to my computer to clean them up a bit. I have my tape deck going into my tuner but can't figure out how to get the sound from my tuner to my PC.
God help me, I'm just not that bright! : ) Using CE pro.

You can connect the line output directly from your cassette deck to the line input on your computer, or you can connect a line level output from your receiver (like the rec out for a cassette recorder) to the soundcard. Be sure you're using a line level input on the soundcard and not the mic level input.

A little more info: doubtless your soundcard has a 1/8" minijack line in. This is a stereo jack. For a home stereo Tape Out or the cassette's Line Out, you need a cable that has two RCA plugs at one end and one stereo miniplug at the other.
