Cases and MoBo's

Sorry for the dumb question, but will all ATX cases also accept micro-ATX motherboards? Or does the case specifically have to state it will accept either ATX or micro-ATX.

I'm prety close to building a new computer, and the MoBo I'm looking at is a micro-ATX (ASUS P4P800VM). I'd rather get an ATX case, though, with an eye for future upgrades. Any issues?

I thought micro-ATX was just for those small form factor desktop PCs you see in offices.

Why not just get the P4P800? Just taken delivery of mine. Rockin roll

I liked the integrated graphics of the VM. Figured it could save me $50 on a graphics card.

However, I may end going with the P4P800. Some friends have planted the bug of dual monitors in my head, which would mean I'd need a dual-monitor graphics card anyway. (I already have the two monitors.)

Other than that, the P4P800 has some advantages - like the 5 PCI slots instead of 3. So that's probably how I'll end up.

Yep. If a mainboard is micro ATX it will fix in a regular ATX case just fine. Preferrable to a micro atx case since it will certainly have a larger capacity power supply...
