Ya i was using cubasis to capture audio through my microphone port, and I seem to be having trouble. It records for like 5 - 10seconds, and then it just quits recording for no reason. Anyone no what i'm doing wrong?

Read the help files that came with the program. Just search for "Punch out".

it gives my results for punch in and punch out. am i searching in the right place? And which do I want, Enabled or Disabled?

Might do ya some good to spend some quality time reading through your manual. You can gain a greater understanding of the functions of the program that way.

The answer would be to disable both Punch in and Punch out. These are for doing retakes (in a sense) set to start and stop at a user specified time.

Thanks man I'll give that a shot. I actually installed my friends cd on my computer so I don't have a manual. But I will try disabling both punch in and out.

That's a no no!

If it's not you're software you should not be using it. Everyone here paid good money for their copies.

clicking record during playback activates/deactivates recording "on the fly"
punch in and out. what the hell is that supposed to mean. I just want to be able to plug my microphone in and record some vocals for longer than 5 seconds. Is that really so hard to do? Don't I have to click record to record my vocals????
