I know the angst re fiddling & stuffing up - it's like mucking about with a muse.
I have some 4 track tape mixes from '86 that I'll never play with as they've developed a life independant of me.
BUT
I'm please that I use, mostly, computer to record so I can attempt almost all suggestions made without causing any damage to the original work.
As I said - I really enjoy the results of your process and I'm not interested in homogenising them.
