...for this thread so I'll just call it 'pain in the arse song that's taking forever to record & driving me $%#% nuts!"

I did this on a G3 using Cubase, Pro-52 and the guitar is done using Amplitube. The drums are half live and half looped.

I'm about to add vocals & just wanna get some feedback before I commit to anything.
Particularly wondering if the instruments mesh properly.

I'm also wondering about the female vocals and whether I should stick with this soft style or go with something harder edged.

Any comments muchly appreciated

the bass sound like an endless farting - but the rest is cool 4 me;
-- to the style question - I wouldn't make somethin soft out of this !

cheers

sounds like something I`d mess around with. Good start for something. The bass needs some subtle changes in eq, attack, sustain, and decay so it doesnt sound like the same machine is playing both bass and perc. It`s just too tight.. Some of the synth tones are real good and the double tracked part with guitar is very interesting. But a meaner raw bass and a fat kick would support it better. Those little analog pad stabs in the rythym could be brighter.
Might be a really good bed track for a tune. after the drum rythym change at the beginning it needs something playing a counter rythym to the drums so it doesnt all of a sudden loose the flooring. smooth neat piece.
