can't sync BR8 and cooledit.

Hi.

I set my br8 for sending mtc, and for 30 frames non drop, and I set cooledit to be slave, and also set for 30 frames, and choose the right soundcard and midi inputs( Delta 1010LT). I hit play on the br8, and cooledit takes off and starts filling the track window with loud wave forms of white noise. The counter needle stays in proper time with the br8, but the track is filling up super fast with clipping noise. The wav form fills up the track view window, and when I play it back, it is loud white noise with moments of silence. It remember having this problem before, and I don't know what made it stop, cause it was a couple years ago. What could be the problem. Sonar also refuses to sync with the br8, but it only says it has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. There has to be something going on with the drivers or the br8. I have a Yamaha MD8, and it was syncing perfectly with these programs just days ago.

Any suggestions?

I think its your s/pdif setting in the delta cards control panel. It should be on external clock sync while recording from the digital s/pdif.

Sonar will sync better if you choose the "trigger and freewheel" option (Project options?) while under an external s/pdif clock.
