Greetings to all,
I have hit a freakin wall with my VS880ex. I just recorded tracks 1-4 with no hitches, but suddenly on track 5 when I try to go into record mode the status light for track 5 just keeps blinking red indicating that its still in standby mode(not recording). My first thought was trying something that seems to have fixed it in the past - checking the assignment on that track. I have verified that input 5 is routed to track 5 then when I set up to record and press fader edit(to orange) I then have checked the assignment once again and its the same in both mixer modes. Somehow I guess my signal that is coming in on input 5 is not being routed to the recorder section of the VS880ex. I then said, to heck with it and decieded to cancel all assignments by pressing and holding status button and clear with the intentions of reassigning everything but I still cant record. I found a good book on the vs880 and bought it. It has helped me alot with most of the things I've tried but no help anywhere on this. I know there is someone out there that has experienced the same problem, and I hope you can help. Thank You. Brent
