Can't record in Sonar 2

When I arm a track for recording, everything seems fine. The record meter shows the sound I'm producing, but when I hit the record button, everything goes dead. I can still hear sound through the PC, but nothing gets recorded. Hope someone has a solution for this, it's very frustrating.

What's your OS ? What soundcard ? Does it handle full duplex ? What driver ? Did you set the kernell mixer to record source from line in, not JUST playback (default recording usualy set to Mic in) ? How exactly you set SONAR's audio port ? Are you running out of HD capacity ? I think we need better info to help.
