Please help a noob out. I bought myself a basic home recording setup: Steinberg CI1 audio interface, a mic and an AKAI LPK25 midi controller keyboard. I hook everything up and I'm able to record tracks in Sequel LE using the mic and add loops etc.
The problem I'm having is I can't hear my keyboard in Sequel. I load a synth track and the program clearly recognises the controller because the little level bar jumps when I press a key but I hear no sound?
Presumably I'm making some basic error but I can't figure out what? Do I need to do something in order to get the audio interface to communicate with the keyboard (they are both plugged into separate USB ports on my laptop)
Your advice would be appreciated!
