Can't get track name to display

In Sonar 5, it usually has the track name in the bars next to the track number and near the volume, pan, etc controls. For some reason, no track names display for me, and there is not text box in the bar where it should be... how can I get it to display?

you may need to slide everything over to the right. Put youir mouse ove the area where the wave form starts next to the db. figures.You will see your mouse arrow change to 2 vertical line and 2 small arrow going left and right.
