Can't burn CD's of Audition tracks

I'm using the trial version of Audition. Whenever I save a mix and then try to burn it to a CD using anything but Audition (such as Roxio Creator Classic) I get an error message. AA gives you the option to save in about, well, too many goddamn formats, including several with the tag ".wav" I use the one that says something like "Windows PCM." Is there another format I should be saving in so I can burn CD's with whatever app I like? Thanks.

Also, BTW, am I crazy, or does AA not offer the ability to lock blocks "In Play Only" but only "Lock In Time Only?" Why would they get rid of something so clearly useful, or have they just hidden it? I was used to seeing it right next to lock in time.

Does the trial version actually have burning capability? I wonder if that's not your problem...

Yes, I can burn CD's using Audition, but when I try to burn those files to CD using any my Roxio, which has never given me problems before, I get the error msg. Which kind of "wav" format should I be using?

windows PCM

Windows PCM and...

...44.1KHz at 16-bit. The song has to be in a two-track "stereo" format also. If you don't know the sampling rate or bit depth of your song, call it up in Edit View and punch PF11. You will get a window that displays its format and allows you to convert it to 44.1/16.

Congrats man - thought I'd let you know you troubleshot my problem to a "T"! MY file was 44.1/32 and you tip on pulling up that window (which I'd actually looked for before and couldn't find) solved the issue. Thanks!
