Cannot Record To Cd

I have sorted out the recording, but i can only record a cd to be used on a computer i cannot record to cd for use on acd player. I have tried many different ways but to no avail. Could onyone shine a light into my world.

1) Mix your Cubase project down to a 16bit/44.1kHz file - thats the ONLY audio format for audio CDs.

2) In your CD-burning program (Nero? EZCDcreator? Whatareyouusing???) Make sure you select AUDIO CD and not DATA CD. (and NEVER use the Windows built-in CD burning)

3) The CD player MUST be able to read computer-burned discs (CD-R/CD-RW). Some older ones, especially car CD players, won't... and there's nothing you can do about that.
