Hey there,

I am experiencing a curious problem:

I am using Cakewalk Guitar Studio and I'm trying to record some tracks, but when I plug my guitar into soundblaster card microphone input, I can record it but cannot hear.

Explanation: I think I would hear the "echo" of my input through the card output, since it's plugged into my stereo, am I right?

Anyone knows what's happening, and why I can't hear the sound?

Thanks!

Well, I think I didn't express myself very clear...
It's perfectly possible to hear my recorded tracks AFTER I finish the recording, but I would like to hear it WHILE I am recording in realtime.

For instances, I have another software called GuitarFX that emulates a guitar effects rack. Then, I must plug the guitar in the sound board input jack to process its sound, and plug another cable in the sound board output jack and then to the amplifier cube.

But, if the input sound do not echoes in the output jack, how can I hear the sound? Suppose that I was just playing on a live performance instead making a recording?

I'll apreciate any help, please!

PS: By the way, I am using Windows XP and my sound board is a Ensoniq PCI-16 (Creative/EMu).

Cheers!
