Can you mix down to mp3 on free trial

Can you mix down to mp3 on free trial...If you can how is that done!...Reaper is way better than i thought it would be...It makes my recordings sound 100 times better than Mixcraft 3 does which i paid $50 for...doh!...wish i found reaper sooner.

the guys who make LAME do not allow LAME to be given away for free bundled, so you've got to paste it into your computer yourself.

I would stick it in C:\program files\reaper

I downloaded lame and put in the reaper folder...not sure what else I have to do after that...not sure what and where i have to paste.

put the lame enc_dll in there

then once you have reaper open hit file\render and chose mp3 as the output format

Im kind of slow at learning these types of things...when you say put the lame enc_dll in there...not sure what you mean by in there...in there where?

In my case, I have it in C;\windows\system32 so that any app can use it

Ok thanks...when i downloaded lame I put it directly into reaper and didnt use system...I will remove/delete the lame folder I downloaded and put in reaper and try downloading it again and putting it in system 32...thanks again for the help.
