The talent of producer/guitarist/drum composer/bass composer/background vox Billy Howerdell is unmistakable, but the rest of the band is great as well.

Go to http://www.aperfectcircle.org/multimedia/

There is a remix of orestes by howerdell. Hes an amazing vocalist as well.

Also Paz has one and is a pretty good vocalist as well.

And Troy has a remix of The Hollow. Hes actually a very good singer. Hes different than Maynard, but just as good in his own way.

There is no better band...

Ummm. Their ok.
I listened to a couple of their songs.
Have you heard Chris Shaeffer's stuff? He's good too.

And are you, by chance, Billy Howerdell?
And was this recorded by you, at home, to be enjoyed here at this site?

V.I., U took the words rite outta' my mouth! It's alright, but I rather
listen to members of HR's moo-sik!

If this was recorded at home

I'd like to know about the rig it was recorded on. Sounds nice but also sounds like it was down anywhere but in a home...though I do know from experience you can do something like this on a home rig...just pretty time consuming.

I DO like the style of music and the gal has a killer voice!!

im not slating them just makin a comment

i love apc to death first saw judith on m2 about 3 weeks before the album was due out and nearly triped over myself to see if i could buy it......the one thing ive noticed though is they dont do much that could be considered truly new...admitidly they are one of the most exciting bands of the ast few years and they are one of the only bands playing this kind of stuff but if you look back to some of the stuff that was around in the eighties and its pretty similar...a very good friend of mine(hes got about 10 years on me)lived through the whole scene in the eighties and hated apc when he first heard them because they wee too much like everything from back then.......admittidly he's changed the error of his ways now but im inclined to agree with him on his first conclusion...although im inclined to agree with the sticksman on his comment that this doesnt have much to do with home recording wihich is what this site for..although i do thank you for the site address' as i had'nt had a chance to look them up myself yet

actually one question do you have any idea what model zildjians josh freesh(sp?)uses i just love those crashes and i need some more dynamics other than what ive got of my k customs....cheers

Question...

Am I the only one who likes APC but can't stand Tool? I didn't even give APC a chance until recently - I just assumed it would be another incarnation of Tool. IMO, Tool seems so determined to "not conform" to popular music that they just end up getting too wack with it....10 minute songs that don't go anywhere are just frustrating. Its the musical equivalent of a Godard film.
