Can Sonar sync to Sound Forge?

I believe this is possible, but I am confused with with the MTC/SMPTE Midi clock stuff. Which program should be master/slave? What I want to do is use sonar for my midi and I am trying out Sound Forge (I am using the demo version) for the audio stuff. I have a Pocket Express Midi Flyer for my midi interface as well. Can anybody help?
