Yes. For example Voxengo Crunchessor allows one to use one stereo track to key the compressor while it's compressing another stereo track in Cubase using a Quad Group. Unfortunately I'm so broke it's not even funny, so I can't even afford that, although it's priced rather reasonably and I don't believe in using cracks. Currently the only sidechainable compressors I have are the KDFX compressors in my K2600, but they're mono, meaning I can set them up so that the left channel keys the compressor while I run something through the right channel, or vice versa (then I'll need to adjust panning accordingly).
That is sort of the bane of DAW's right now, no TRUE sidechaining available. If you didn't NEED it to be stereo, there is a plugin called GSPAN that sort of works.
