I know that Laptops arn't exactly known for audio quality but are there any that have 24bit soundcards?
Do you need to have a 24bit card in your laptop to use the 24bit editing that an editor such as "WavLab" allows?
What I want to do is to be able to import 24bit auido from a external all in one recorder for further editing with my DX and VST plugins and then export them back to the recorder for mixing.
I would perfer a laptop to a Desktop because of the portability and size.
How quite are laptops? Would they make to much noise to have one as a monior if you are recording 5 feet away?
Thanks for the info
