Can I use this glass computer desk to setup my studio??

i'm recording in my room...vocals only....is it ok to get a glass desk like this? will the glass affect my output?? in anyway? my mic is about 9-10ft away from the desk

between other furniture, equipment, people, etc i think the desk material will be the least of the influence on your room. as long as its not vibrating or reflecting sound from your monitors into your mic, it shouldn't be a problem.
