Im trying to use the analog ins as well as the spdif ins to achieve 4 inputs on my MBOX1 with PT 7.4, but it seems its one OR the other... any way around this?

Slowing becoming un-noob.
I'm pretty sure with the New Mbox 2's you can use both. But I have no experience, nor have I heard anything about, with the mbox 1's.

With the Mbox 1 you can only use the analogue OR digital inputs.
With the Mbox 2 you can use both simultaneously. On the output stage, you can use both the analogue and digital connections, however the digital connection will simply mirror the analogue outputs.
