Can i use Casio CTK-3200 Keyboard with DAWs

I am Beginner, Can i use Casio CTK-3200 Keyboard with DAWs like cubase, ableton 8, etc etc?
I'm wanting to know if any keyboard with a midi output can be used as a midi controller?

Particularly I'm looking to buy a Casio CTK-3200 Keyboard to use with DAWs like cubase, ableton etc etc. But will it do?
2 main reasons for that, 1) I can also practise keyboard without computer,as I want to learn music, which I hope will enhance my production and composition skills . 2) At this juncture it is the best I can afford (I am getting it at around $170)


Any Suggestions would be much appreciated..
 
It apparently does have a USB MIDI port, so the answer is yes. That seems like a high price for that keyboard, though. I see them on Ebay for $120. Note that to use MIDI in a DAW you will need VSTi's - virtual instruments. There are many free ones available and many not-so-free, too.
 
Oh, didn't know where you were. CTK Casios are pretty cheap construction, but will do what you want.
