Can i use any interface with pro tools 7 XL

I just bought a Behringer Xenyx 1832 which comes with there U-CONTROL UCA202. Im hoping that this will be compatible with Pro Tools 7XL Is anyone using this setup already? Any answers would be much appreciated!!!!!!

No, Pro Tools LE will only run and recognise Digi interfaces. PT M-Powered will only run with M-Audio interfaces.
 
You know what..................im completley retarded. What i meant to saaayyyyy was Cakewalk sonar 7 XL.
 
You mean Sonar Home Studio 7 XL? :D
The main Sonar only comes in Producer or Studio (no "XL")


Anyway, now we've determined which DAW you're talking about, yes the UCA202 will work.
Not sure if it has ASIO drivers though, and I wouldn't expect too much in terms of quality.

You might be better off picking up a low-end 2x2 interface.
