Can I program the metronome to change tempo while I record?

Hi all,

I'm working on a project in Cubase that requires a slight tempo change (from 132 to 129 and back to 132). Is there a way to program the metronome to change tempo on its own, or do I need to record it at the different tempos and piece together a metronome track manually?

Thanks for your help!

On the fly while you are recording? No, honestly I don't think any day could do that.

But you can program or draw in tempo changes yes. It's apple+T on the mac, and I'm not sure what it is in windows.

You could stop recording at the part it changes, program the tempo change, record at the faster speed, then stop when your done with that part, write the next tempo change and finish out the track.

Thanks for the suggestion! I found the tempo track. I had been browsing the users manual for metronome track, so it hadn't turned up. Problem solved!
