Can I get some feedback on originals please?

So, I normally sing like this:

But I tried something different in a new song, a fuller, deeper voice:

Does it sound good, or does it sound like a 'fake' tone? I was trying to 'kind of' mimic eddie vedder's style.

Disclaimer, I know I'm not a great singer, so I'm not going to argue with you guys, I'll accept your feedback whatever it is. I'd just really like to know if the tone is alright for you

I guess it'll start to sound good after you've practised it enough that you don't have to think about it so much?

Right now, it sounds too deliberate to me, and all focused on the one thing.

For the sound to be rich, I think you need to combine both, and get the more heady tones of the original going at the same time as the chestier tones you are attempting in the second clip.
