Can I fix this recording? And how?

I recorded my band live with my Tascam 424 mkII. I was kind of busy with set up, getting the mix right (we use the tascam as our mixer), and playing guitar. So I recorded with all four tracks set to BUS L or BUS R. Everything (drums, sax, vocals) except the guitar sounds good. Maybe the mic on the amp was not on or I had the mic too far away, but for whatever reason the guitar is barely audible. I was thinking I might try to re-record my part. I have some ideas, but want to ask first: how would I go about doing this without losing the other tracks. I'm thinking that I recorded on all 4 tracks since it was set on BUS, but maybe I'm wrong. One thought I had was to transfer the good tracks to my computer, then record the guitar part with the tascam and transfer that, but maybe that wouldn't be the easiest way...??? Any suggestions please...?

If you can take your "good" tracks to a PC then I'd do that, bounce them to a mono or stereo tracks - record this back onto your Tascam and then you'll have a spare 2 or 3 tracks to re record tha guitar parts. This would keep everything in sync etc...

Thanks Zeekle. Didn't think of recording back to the Tascam after moving them to the computer, but that sounds like a good idea I should try and I will.
