i'm going to try a new approach with recording.
after years of high decibel recording, i'm going to do this:
replace my regular 6l6's in my boogie, with a TAD power convertor tube (takes it down to 1 watt), with the intention of running my boogie wide open.......
i need a speaker to match. i like the sound of the webers i've heard, only i've heard more high wattage applications......
i'm thinking something in the 15 watt range or less, maybe a 1" voice coil, alnico or ceramic......probably a 10", maybe an 8".......
i'm going to modify an existing 12" enclosure with a new baffle for it......
but i need something that's not too effiecient.....
i want low end reponse, i want that cone to move.......
