Hi Folks,
I've attempted to address all concerns raised whether singularly or in concert The prob with the uneven flute was a goodie - the Aux send/return was playing up, dropping out & then in again at random. It's not as effected now as I opted for conservative safety, but it is much more even.
I'm not sure if, post EQ/filter the vox are any louder. As they say: "The proof of the pudding is in the eating.", so take a bite & if you can't swallow it let me know the prob. - overdeveloped gag reflex is not gonna cut it though.
I don't know if anyone else was having probs uploading to Soundclick - this version took 7 goes between 3.30 & 9.15pm - usually failing in the stream conversion section though a couple of times the thing lost the server 2/3's of the way through.
When listening think gingham scarves, youthful terror, year Zero (NOT, Data Panik by Pere Ubu) & Ankor. What? Yes Angkor (really bad pun I know).
Thank you in anticipation...

Flute is more even at the start. I like how it's shaping up. Has sort of a cool, melodic drone at times......just flows along. Vocals are understandable now, and have a better feel to them. Fit more within the song, not so much under it.

I think you are getting close.

Dogman,
Thanks mate. Though it begs the question...what next?

ray,

c.

the song does not play.

or is it just me?

(the other songs do)

I jsut tried it from the link in the initial post of this thread & it was fine - actually quicker than usual.
I did have some trouble uploading to soundclick yesterday. They may have been "experiencing technical difficulties" when you tried.
have another burl but thanks for trying anyway.

The vocals....work on them. They sound good, but you have had some better sounds. Make them a bit fuller...reverb, or some chorus or something. They sound a bit drier than the last few songs you've done. Don't overdo it, just try and fill them out some.

I'm liking this mix on my headphones.... Real good balance happening all around. Your work on the remixes has brought good results.

You could try some reverb on the vocals. They are nice and clear and even now so if you can process over these levels that would be nice. I'm getting a bit of verb on the vocals on Softdance - something like that maybe....

Again, good progess on this mix.......

:D :) :D :) :D

Dogman & Ido1957,
Thanks fellows. I'd assume the filter on the vocals that allowed me to pump up the vol hilst cutting the noise has thinned them out as well. I'll give the voice a room tratment & see what happens. I'll post tonight AEST.
