Hell - if you're looking for freebies, why bother with this place anyways -- just go right to the top.... email Bob Katz!!!

Hey ...I'm a sound engineer.

I even have the black and white striped cap to prove it.

I will master your tracks for free.

I have all the latest gear.

Send me your tracks and I will send you a contract stating that you will get a substatial partial ownership of the mastered recording and i will own the rest....about 5%/95% I think is fair.....afterall ....it's free.;)

You can have your lawer look it over, but I think you will find 5% is more than most people get whose works I master for free.

BTW if your individual tracks need some "professional punch and pollish", I can run them through my high teck outboard gear.
I have Audiobuddy and Art preamps that really add that certain somthing you wont find many places.
This would not be free....but only a minimal charge per track per piece of gear you want used.
I have various compressors and stuff too....like the legendary 3630 and even have an RNC.

This processing will ensure your free finished master will be "really professional" sounding and its probably some of the best free time and minimal money you can spend if you really care about your music.

...and I should know because not only am I a sound engineer, but I'm am also a medical doctor (with a lab coat).

Let me know.

-mike;) ;)

is there any ME out there that would take the time to show me ALL of their
tricks so I can do it myself? I want the entire process..

LOL LOL LOL!!!!!! i wonder if i can go to mcdonalds for lunch and say...hey when yall have some spare time can i get double quarter pounder with cheese, 2 apple pies and a large chocolate shake for free?

Dear Jskillz89,

Do a search for free cd mastering. You'll be surprised at what you will find. I know there is one guy offerring free mastering. I am not sure how good it will be but at least it's free and you can test it out for yourself. Then again, it seems like everyone is calling themselves ME's just because they have mastering software such as Ozone.

If you are serious and you care for your music just pay for it. If it is just for fun then get it done for free.

Another thing would be to send your tracks individually to http://www.psrecordings.com/ until you are done sending them all. It may take a year or so but it's free. You may need to change your name and address on each track. Ofcourse, I though mastering one track alone is not really mastering. I may be wrong.

The beauty of the internet is that most of the intro information you need IS out there for free. The rest comes from hours and hours of slaving away in front of the tools and listening to a whole lot of music.
